- Vardzia Cave City (12th Century) Constructed during the Golden Age of Queen Tamar, Vardzia is a marvel of medieval engineering. This underground fortress once consisted of thirteen levels and over 6,000 rooms, designed to protect the kingdom from southern invasions. It remains a living monastery and one of Georgia's most breathtaking UNESCO-worthy sites.
- Rabati Fortress (9th-18th Century) Standing as a symbol of Georgian tolerance, Rabati is a unique "city within a city." This recently restored complex showcases a blend of Georgian, Ottoman, and Byzantine architecture. Within its walls, you will find a mosque with a golden dome, a traditional Orthodox church, and a historical museum housing artifacts from the Bronze Age.
- The Sacred Spirit of Borjomi Beyond its famous water, Borjomi is a land of deep spiritual history. From the Green Monastery, where ancient stones tell stories of medieval bravery, to the forest cabin of Saint Serafime Sarov, this region offers a quiet, healing atmosphere that has attracted royalty and pilgrims for centuries.
