Daily Itinerary
- Day 1: Tbilisi Exploration – A deep dive into the capital. We will explore the winding streets of the Old Town, ascend to the Narikala Fortress for a city view, and experience the cultural heartbeat of this ancient, yet evolving, metropolis.
- Day 2: The Military Highway to Kazbegi – We drive north through the Caucasus Mountains. Along the way, we stop at the Ananuri fortress and the Gudauri panorama. We will cross the dramatic Jvari Pass before arriving at the awe-inspiring Dariali Monastery, nestled in the rugged border gorge.
- Day 3: The Spirit of the Peaks – A morning excursion to the Holy Trinity (Sameba) Church in Kazbegi for views of the towering Mount Kazbek. We then visit the village of Sno, known for its serene atmosphere and peculiar stone sculptures. Overnight in the mountain air of Kazbegi.
- Day 4: Healing Waters of Borjomi – We transition from the high peaks to the lush forests of central Georgia. We will walk through the historic Borjomi Central Park to sample the volcanic mineral water and visit the peaceful house of Saint Serafime Sarov. Overnight in Borjomi.
- Day 5: Echoes of Ancient History – On our journey back to Tbilisi, we step back in time at the ancient cave city of Uplistsikhe. We conclude our tour at the formidable Gori Fortress. Along the route, we will pause to enjoy authentic Georgian cuisine
